Bugisu Sipi Falls Anaerobic Natural, emerging from Uganda's Mbale district, draws its name from the Sipi Falls near Mount Elgon National Park. Cultivated at 1300-1900 masl, it undergoes anaerobic natural processing, fermenting cherries in sealed tanks to enhance sweetness and uniqueness. Dried on raised beds, the coffee is certified organic. The Sipi Falls Coffee Project, established in 1999, uplifts smallholders of the Bugisu ethnic group through training and fair prices.
